The Soul Food Poetry Cafe is excited to welcome the Quentin Michael Music Group back for the second installment of our 2020 show series, Soul of Music City!

Quentin Michael is the influential fresh face of The Quentin Michael Music Group. As a pastor by day and a keyboardist and music director by night, he marries soul with rhythm through his music. Superseding the surface of silvery sounds, his music ministry plunges deeper, healing and uplifting the listener. His impressive gift to convey the power of lyrics through the passion in music has garnered the interest of artists such as Antwan Horton, Sy Smith, Jerami Matlock, Jimmy Needham and Trip Lee who resonated with Quentin's revolutionary relevance. His latest CD, "Welcome To My World," has been played in airways all over the world, and has even charted the smooth-jazz musical charts in the U.K.

The Quentin Michael Music Group is comprised of some of the most energetic and talented professional vocalists and musicians in Music City. They travel around the world performing on numerous stages providing phenomenal entertainment. Get ready for a fabulous evening of love songs presented to you by our dynamic house band, QMMG!

Founded 13 years ago by Nashville poet Imani Rhema, the Soul Food Poetry Cafe is one of Music City’s longest-running live music and spoken word showcases - featuring some of the most talented poets, musicians, and vocalists in the artist community.
